French Senators visited Jojug Marjanli village and Horadiz city

The delegation led by Andre Reichardt, the chairman of the France-Caucasus Friendship Group of the Senate of the Republic of France visited Horadiz city and liberated Jojug Marjanli village of Jabrail region. In Jojug Marjanli, the delegation was informed about the atrocities committed by Armenians in the occupied territories, as well as demining and construction works conducted in the village in accordance with the Order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic on the restoration of the village. They were informed that in the first stage 50 private houses, a school building and relevant infrastructure are planned to be constructed and restored in Jojug Marjanli, totally destroyed by the Armenian armed forces. And 150 houses and other infrastructures are planned to be constructed and restored in the next stage. Reviewing reconstruction and renovation works carried out in the village, the French visitors expressed hope for peaceful resolution of the conflict. After that, the delegation who visited Horadiz city was informed about ceasefire violation of Armenian armed forces by using sniper rifles and mortars along frontline. The head of Fuzuli region Executive Power Ali Aliyev stated that in spite of the attacks by enemy life goes on normally. The residents engage in daily domestic and economic works. It was noted that Horadiz city was also occupied and destroyed by Armenian armed forces as Jojug Marjanli village. After the liberation of the city in 1994, compherensive reconstruction and restoration works were carried out here. Horadiz became a flourishing, beautiful city today due to the works done. Horadiz is a sister city with Altkirch city of France now.
