A Board meeting was held in the State Committee on Deals of refugees and IDPs. On April 20, an expanded Board meeting dedicated to the results of the first quarter of the current year and duties set forth was held in the State Committee on Deals of refugees and IDPs. Speaking at the opening of the Board meeting, Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee on Deals of refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov directed main attention to the provisions he talked about in his broad and keynote speech in the meeting held under the chairmanship of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev dedicated to the results of the socio-economic development of the first quarter of the current year of the Cabinet of Minister and the duties set forth and the duties set forth and said that, as a result of the successful socio-economic reforms and purposeful policy led by the Mr. President, the economic potential of the country further strengthened and the dynamics of sustainable development was provided. Refereeing to the speech of Mr. President in the meeting and statistics, the Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov highlighted that economic development was provided in the country in the first quarter of the current year, social problems were resolved, the establishment of the army was done successfully and the authority of Azerbaijan increased in the world and said that 2017 would be a successful year for our country. Saying that Azerbaijani citizen was in the centre of the policy of the President, the successes achieved as a result of this policy, Ali Hasanov stated that all the main tasks were executed because of the development of the economy of Azerbaijan under the leadership of the President despite all the objective difficulties. Despite of the decline in world oil prices for some time, the development was provided as a result of the measures taken for the elimination of the dependence on oil and development of other fields up to now and as a result of the deep reforms. Expressing the great importance of economic development of the country to solve the problems of our refugees and IDPs, the Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov deemed the appointment of Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva as the first Vice-President by the relevant Order of the Mr. President during the reporting period as the most successful reform in the structure of public administration and timely step. He stated that the Order signed by Mr. President on February 21 on the appointment of Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva having a great reputation and an experience of statehood, representing Azerbaijan for a long time tirelessly and with dignity and providing exclusive services in increase of international reputation of our country was the most important step intended for the purpose of the application of the flexible management system in the country, making economic and political reforms in accordance with the existing requirements, further improvement of social welfare of people, timely prevention of possible calls and protection of the interests of statehood.
