Jojug Marjanli receives its residents again after 24 years
The resettlement of the residents of Jojug Marjanli, who have been living as IDPs for 24 years, in a new settlement built in the village by the Order of the President Ilham Aliyev was started.

Resettlement process is carried out by the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs.

Spending half of her life as IDP in Jojug Marjanli and half in Bilajari Yagut Mammadova said in her interview with the reporter of AZERTAJ: “We have been separated for 24 years from our native village. We have seen many difficulties in these years. The biggest challenge was our homesickness. Thank God, this homesickness has ended. I breathed the fresh air and drank water in my native village. We express our gratitude to our President for giving us this joy. I wish other IDPs return to their home country soon”.

Today, 6 families were temporarily resettled in Jojug Marjanli. In general 50 families, being 25 families from Baku and 25 families from other regions, will be resettled in Jojug Marjanli.
